Acceptable Use Policy

1.Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do when using eCSyn. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Breaching this AUP is a breach of those Terms.

2.Prohibited activities

You must not use the Service to:

• break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s rights (including intellectual-property and privacy rights);
• upload or process personal data without a lawful basis or required consent;
• send spam or unsolicited messages, or engage in unlawful marketing;
• transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data except through features we provide;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• harass, abuse, defame or harm others; or
• resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

3.Messaging & anti-spam

eCSyn provides shortcuts to contact people by WhatsApp and email. You are solely responsible for your communications and must: have a lawful basis and, where required, consent to contact each person; honour opt-out/unsubscribe requests; and comply with anti-spam laws and the policies of the relevant messaging and email providers. Do not use the Service to send bulk unsolicited messages.

4.Data you upload

You must only upload contacts and business data you are entitled to use, and you must handle that data in line with applicable data-protection law and our Privacy Policy. Do not upload sensitive personal data unless you have a valid basis to do so.

5.Enforcement

If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may investigate and take action including removing content, limiting or suspending features, or suspending or terminating your Account — with or without notice depending on severity. We may also report unlawful activity to the authorities.
